Greetings!

Thank you for visiting my website. I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Bogazici University, where I teach econometrics and labor economics. I received my PhD from the University of Virginia in 2018.

I'm currently on leave from Bogazici University to conduct research and teach political economics at Turku School of Economics.

My research interests lie in political economics, labor economics, and economics of digital platforms. Firstly, I work on how political parties organize, recruit personnel, and share the political power they gain among the party members.

Secondly, I work on understanding how online job adverts evolve and attract different types of applicants. As a part of this research, I am supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (PN 122K518).

Lastly, I have recently collaborated with the World Bank researchers to study the economics of cybersecurity and digital platforms.
